It is such a great way of getting my inspiration going! Here is a photo of a bracelet I made using a Green Girl Studios "java" bead in pewter: one of my favorite, fun, beads, which I used when I made the bracelet for the ABS http://www.artbeadscene.blogspot.com/ November challenge! I would like to point out the curls in the lampwork beads reinforce the curls in the warm "smoke"-"steam" curling up from the pewter java bead. I love the gracefulness of that. I added some toasty colored pearls to the pewter charm, and I strung everything with copper. The little beads which make up the body of the bracelet are carved wood. It's all very cosy, which is nice, because today is cold here. There is frost on the leaves which are still hanging in and remaining here -- it is a perfect day to curl up with your favorite warm beverage (java? tea? a hot toddy? <--what is that???) and read a book.
