A necklace set for Artbeads, created by Jean Yates

"Salon des Cent", by Mucha--This elegant set features a Russian Art pendant, with the necklace and earrings designed by me. The onyx focal pendant is beautifully hand painted and available only at http://www.artbeads.com/ !
Here is a close up so you can enjoy the golds, pinks and creams against the focal's black onyx background. As you can see, the Swarovski cuplink chain is wound around the heart necklace base. Each of the focal pendants is signed by the artist who painted it. I have been collecting these now, and own five! I love them!
Everyone who knows me, knows I am crazy about unique jewelry supplies! Therefore, I love Artbeads--it is outstanding! I had a ball using many of their beads and findings and components in my book, Links by Jean Yates, and these days I turn to them for inspiration often, when I am just having fun, on my own, "playing jewelry design". The creations which I design when I discover something new to fall in love with at Artbeads are some of my favorites! Now that I am in the "blogging for beaders" program for Artbeads, I am enjoying meeting some of their people (like Steve and Duchess) whom I had never met before. These people who work for Artbeads (which is located in Gig Harbor, WA) are so sweet, funny and nice, I love the store even more. Take my word for it, if you care about your customers and work hard, it really shines through! This month I went back to Artbeads to rework another of their exquisite Russian Artist Pendants. I chose (or maybe I fell for!) "Salon des Cent", by Mucha. The code is AB-PT106. The link to the Russian Pendants is Russian Pendants I used my beloved Swarovski components for accents, including crystal cuplink chain and rose drops. You can find those and lots of other Swarovski items here: Swarovski Components I also used some pink glass heart beads, which compliment the colors of the focal, and because of the manner in which they were designed , echo the waviness of the pendant painting. Then when I was done, I completed my design with Baby Pink hand dyed silk ribbon, which I also found at Artbeads! It has Metallic Gold edges, so it goes well with the colors I was working with. I love the look! I really enjoyed designing this necklace and earring set (oh! I chose the ear wires from the selection they have here: earring components ), and I hope that you like it, too. Artbeads rules! They have what is chic, hot, and different, all in one place! Plus they have those fun people who work there whom it's really great to get to know! Thanks for looking! jean

Well, I'm partial to pink, but still I love this. The pendant is amazing, and I like the use of the ribbon to finish it and use as a tie clasp.

That is really exquisitely lovely. So feminine! I'm still working up my Chagall design. Those pendants are so special, I feel they deserve to live in special designs. You've achieved that here for sure!
