If I had a choice between a high end gold and silver fancy schmancy punch em out Fifth Avenue jewelry store or this fantastic bauble, which reminds me of a London production I saw at age thirteen of Midsummer Night's Dream which involved a lot of bubbles and pure beauty and flights of imagination such as I had never seen before, I would go for this! I wish she'd sell just the blank glass orbs. Cynthia used these in a project called Time and Memory in her book and the wonderful Shannon Hill made them. Unfortunately and sadly, he passed away. So now, we need another source for these lovely glass baubles for readers of the book to enjoy should they make their own versions of the necklace.
Oh that is so sad. I love that necklace in the book, Andrew! If you want to contact her, I wonder what she would think of picking up the torch for a beloved friend of your family's. Kim does it all but she follows her own path. It is a complicated situation, isn't it? People usually like to make their own art by the time they have grown to be that good. xox jean
