Some Fabulous News from the Great Margot Potter
| "Hello Beady and Crafty Peeps I am back in the freelance saddle after a long and winding year, and of course rebooting a career takes time, effort and lots of creativity. I have started two new sites and want to invite you all to play! Happy to cross promote my fellow crafty peeps. Craft. You. Turning Lemons into Really Tasty Strawberry Fizzy Lemonade http://craft-you.blogspot.com/ I am featuring folks who 'do what they love and love what they do' in interviews on my new site Craft. You. This is a place for folks to actively participate in creating success and joy. I'm sharing interviews, posts, challenges, prompts, stories and soon plan on launching virtual classes, downloadable PDFs and more! If you'd like to be featured on the site, just shoot me an email and I'll shoot you 4-5 quick questions you can answer, promote whatever you like, return answers with pics and we'll feature you in an upcoming post. (note from jean: I am WAY ready!!! This looks great!) Internetiquette with Ms. Madge(rs) Cleaning up the Web, One Dirty Comment at a Time This will be launching within the week. I have grown so weary of the nastitude that runs rampant on the internet. People hide behind their computer screens dropping their mean spirited comments freely and without shame and I think it's time we do something about it. I've developed a humorous approach to this on my YouTube, blog and other venues that I think it would make for a great blog. Do you have a crappy comment you want Ms. Madge(rs) to handle? Send it my way. I'll post the comment, my quippy response and link back to you. (note from jean--having been embarrassed and harrassed so badly by hecklers and trolls on amazon.com, I am way ready for this, too!) Here is the link for THIS fab blog: Internetiquette with Ms. Madge(rs) Love Madge" and her signature and other links, below Margot Potter I color outside of the lines. |

Jean,
Margot is one of my favorite crafty people. I'm so excited about her freelance career!
I'm sorry you had to deal with hecklers on Amazon. So much of the time, people say ridiculous things without even reading a book -- and if they do read it, they do so poorly. It makes me think they should be required to pass a reading comprehension test and a short questionnaire before commenting.
Cheers,
-- Sarah
haha Sarah! what a sweet thing to say.
In my mind, I left a huge THANK YOU JEAN here. You are the best!
